Who can be a member? PCSR is primarily an organisation of therapists, from those in training to experienced practitioners working in a wide variety of settings and with a variety of clients. But membership is open to anyone who’s interested in what we do and how we do it. So if you work in a related field, have an academic interest or are an individual who supports our stated aims, we would welcome you as a member.
The majority of our members live and work in the UK, but we love contact and dialogue with colleagues anywhere in the world.
Membership costs £48 per year, with concessionary membership at £30 per year. We prefer an annual standing order, though you may also pay by bank transfer.
Membership includes a subscription to two journals (our in-house journal Transformations and the online academic journal Psychotherapy and Politics International), reduced-rate attendance at conferences and events run by PCSR and full access to our discussion group where ongoing conversations and discussions take place. Members can initiate actions, network, discuss political issues and share information and resources.
