Overview
This event seeks to engage with educational institutions, trainers, programme leaders and other individuals and industry bodies, invested in counselling and psychotherapy training. With an initial focus on race and ethnicity, we will be bringing together a panel of knowledgeable experts and facilitating group discussions which address common themes in training, such as:

The challenges and barriers experienced in counselling and psychotherapy training by our diverse communities
What does good practice look like? Sharing models of good practice of diversity and inclusion in training
What resources and support are needed to ensure training is inclusive and that diversity and inclusion is fully embedded into training?
How do we bring about system level change across the training field?

The aspiration is for this event to start a dialogue to inform future diversity and inclusion standards and competences within the industry and practice.
