PCSR Anti-Racism Action Group

PCSR Anti-Racism Action Group was formed in December 2020 in response to the report Black people, racism and human rights by the Joint Committee on Human Rights that was published 11th November 2020.

We’re meeting every 6 – 8 weeks on Zoom and have decided to remain a closed group for a year, in order to get to know each other and work out our aims and areas of activity. There are currently 14 of us and we will open up to new members joining in December 2021.

We are in the process of writing our Manifesto which will be published on the PCSR website, and other places, when it is ready. We are seeing it as a document that will change and evolve with time.

Alongside the Action Group some members are also meeting for a monthly Discussion Group, where members are examining their embodied and embedded experiences of and relationship with racism: again this is a closed group for now.
